A Mecca for every fan of the Silver & Black, a trip up to Network Associates Coliseum for a Raiders home game can best be described as a cross between Halloween, Hollywood, and the WWF. From creatures roaming the parking lot that rival even those from the Star Wars Cantina, to skeletons, harleys, and some of the best tailgate parties we have ever seen, the Raiders fans definitely live up to their reputation! With names like Gorrilla Rilla, Spike, and Lady Chainz ... many of these die hards are treated like celebrities up in Oakland and even come equipped with their own trading cards and 8 1/2 by 11 glossies. So love em or hate em ... there really is no doubt ... Raiders fans definitely deserve the title "Best Fans in the NFL" and maybe even in sports period!!! |
